
Frosty Pines Autumn Adventure Program will be ongoing throughout the Fall season exploring the many colors of the Autumn forest and the changes that take place. We will be embarking on many fun filled educational adventures including, learning about the unique weather patterns of the season and how they affect the ever changing eco-system. Get a close up look at a bugs life through Entomology and Water Ecology as we learn to identify aquatic hatches during Fly-fishing adventures amongst the beautiful fire and rust colored Aspens. We will end each day with a diverse mix of music and art.

Saturday: Generally 9am-3pm (CHILDREN OF ALL AGES) This is a day that we are offering the OPTION for parents to come out and experience nature hands on, alongside the children.

Saturday Sept 24th: National Public Lands Day *11 TO 4 - Join us as we Celebrate The Pines @ Mountain Utes Lands Park in Vallecito with the Vallecito Service League and Special Guest Craig Goodell, Fire Mitigation and Education Specialist & Rod Cook of La Plata Weed Control. Learn about how the Ponderosa Pines survived the Missionary Ridge Fire and help us plant some native plants before fall sets in, enjoy FREE potluck BBQ picnic as we fire up the grill @4pm, music and good ol' family fun!
